Supportive Housing & Life Skills Training

We provide safe, stable housing for individuals facing systemic barriers such as food insecurity, housing instability, or lack of access to meaningful opportunities.

Led by certified educators, our program includes comprehensive life skills training focused on:

  • Emotional wellness

  • Job readiness & professional development

  • Financial literacy

  • Culinary resilience

  • Career exploration in the beauty industry, including hands-on training and pathways to certification

  • Art therapy, mindfulness, and healing modalities

This holistic approach helps participants rebuild confidence, develop essential life and career skills, and transition into thriving, self-sufficient lives. Whether it's through baking, braiding, or budgeting—we create space for healing, growth, and possibility.

Healing Through Food: Social & Behavioral Development

Led by a Certified Adaptive Behavior Instructor

We offer targeted social skills and behavioral training designed to support individuals navigating emotional, developmental, or behavioral challenges. Led by an experienced adaptive behavior specialist, this service helps participants build the confidence, communication tools, and coping strategies they need to thrive in everyday life.

Our approach is:

  • Culturally responsive

  • Trauma-informed

  • Rooted in emotional wellness and self-regulation

Participants learn how to:

  • Navigate social settings with confidence

  • Strengthen communication and problem-solving skills

  • Manage stress, anxiety, and behavioral triggers

  • Build healthy relationships and boundaries

This training is especially valuable for residents in our supportive housing program, youth, and adults who have been historically underserved or misunderstood in traditional settings.

Food Service

Culturally Rooted Meals for Sensitive Populations

At Pugh’Wee, we believe that every person deserves access to food that is not only nourishing—but also respectful of their lived experience, dietary needs, and emotional well-being.

Our meal services are thoughtfully designed to support sensitive populations, including:

  • Individuals with dietary restrictions

  • People with sensory sensitivities or sensory processing challenges

  • Those healing from trauma or experiencing food-related aversions

  • Neurodivergent individuals, children in special education, and people navigating mental or emotional health challenges

Each meal is prepared with care, guided by cultural relevance, trauma-informed practices, and a deep understanding of how food impacts the body, mind, and spirit.

We offer:

  • Refrigerated vending machines stocked with meals that are accessible, affordable, and easy to enjoy

  • Catering for events or programs, with menus that accommodate a wide range of sensitivities and preferences

  • Optional educational presentations from certified instructors on topics such as adaptive behavior, IEPs, and family-centered wellness practices

This service is ideal for schools, care organizations, residential programs, and employers who want to meet their community's needs with compassion, competence, and cultural care.
